Conference marked the end of successful Polish–Norwegian research collaboration

A well attended international conference in Łódź, Poland co-hosted by Oslo Research (ORES) marked the end of a successful research collaboration between ORES, Norwegian Social Research (NOVA) at Oslo Metropolitan University and the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine (NIOM) in Poland. NOVA Director Bjørn Hvinden gave the opening address, sharing important experiences from international research collaborations, and research director Solveig Bergman from the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS) gave a key note address on mothers’ violence towards children.

ORES Director Margunn Bjørnholt and Kari Stefansen (NOVA) presented results from the qualitative Norwegian part of the EFFECT study as well as Norwegian-Polish comparisons of work–family arrangements and policy packages in Norway and Poland.
